Blackberry Q20 Specs, Release, Price: The Old School Classic Smartphone Soon In Stores!
BlackBerry Q20, now also dubbed as the Blackberry Classic, was officially unveiled at the February 2014 MWC in Barcelona by John Chen, Executive Chairman and CEO at BlackBerry Limited. At the product launching, he said: ""Today, we're delighted to announce the new BlackBerry Q20 smartphone, which is designed to give you the distinct experience that every BlackBerry QWERTY loyalist and high-productivity business customer absolutely loves. With the BlackBerry Q20 smartphone, you'll get the familiar hard buttons and trackpad that you want, along with the best email service, the best keyboard experience and the best battery life possible."
The BlackBerry Q20 specs, aside from the announced QWERTY keyboard design, includes the incorporation of the 'Menu', 'Back', 'Send' and 'End' Buttons and the Integrated Trackpad; an email service with features like BlackBerry Hub where all messages can be accessed in one place; enterprise connectivity with BES10; and a 3.5" touchscreen. The new BlackBerry flagship smartphone will also be crafted from premium materials, designed for reliability and durability and it will come with a larger battery.
The BlackBerry Q20, aka BlackBerry Classic, release is officially scheduled for November 2014. BlackBerry CEO Chen in a USA Today interview said: "There's a new product called the BlackBerry Classic that's coming out. It's an updated and enhanced version of one of our most popular and successful products called the Bold. It will include a keyboard and a good touch-screen, very fast Internet, Web-browsing capability and multimedia capability. But also it will be very productive and very secure. So, all the familiar things that people love, with some new technology updated. That will come out in November along with the server that helps companies manage devices...."
The BlackBerry Q20 price will reportedly be at $235 in the USA according to Gadget Price.
