Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Another "Kawabonga" in theater Soon Release Date Announced
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is an upcoming action adventure movie sequel being produced by Nickelodeon Movies and Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes who is returning to the production after the previous film that was released this year 2014 on August 8.
Other returnees to the film are Josh Applebaum and André Nemec acting as screenwriters. It is to be distributed and published by Paramount Pictures.
The film is based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie series which were very popular in their times, first released and distributed by New Line Cinema in 1990 and later in 1991 and 1993 as sequels.
In turn, the movie series was based on the American comic book created by Kevin Brooks Eastman and Peter Laird, and was first published by Mirage Studios in 1984.
The four main action figures of the comic book and later to be featured in films were interestingly named after the famous historical artists of the Renaissance: Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael.
According to hints and speculations made online, the follow up movie to the 2014 release, may involve the Mutant Turtles entering a world called Dimension X, which is said to be a world that represents their origin and is ruled by a Super Villain! A battle may ensue between an alien race called "Utroms" headed by this Super Villain and the forces of Good! Our favorite Ninja Turtles!
The story follows up the original story, where a reporter named April O'Neil, during her investigations of a gang called the "Foot Clan", discovers the Mutant Turtles and later finds out the connection between them and her father's laboratory.
It has been speculated that four new characters may also be added to the movie! Cowabunga Dude!
The sequel is currently in development and is expected to come our way by June 3, 2016!
