Destiny PC Release Date and News: When Will the Released Date be Finally Announced?
Everybody knows that Destiny has been released on several consoles such as PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360. However, it is still a mystery on when the Destiny PC game's official release date would be out. Some rumors circulated advising fans to anticipate a release somewhere during the first half of 2015 but so far, none of these were confirmed by the game developer.
According to an interview from Polygon during E3, Eric Osborne, the game's writer, said that with a big demographic of their gamers on the PC platform, a Destiny PC port is possible. "We haven't announced it yet, but we're looking forward to talking more about that kind of stuff in the future." In terms of reason why there is a delay for a Destiny PC release, Lar Bakker, the game's lead designer, shared that that the reason why it is taking a while is that creating a PC version of a game is more difficult to develop.
There have been rumors going around though that Microsoft is pushing for the Destiny PC release to be hooked-up ready for their own consoles.
Currently, the recently released Destiny was reported by Bungie to have sold more than $500 million - the most pre-ordered in history. September 9 saw the release of the video game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Destiny is a first shooter video game set in a post-apocalyptic setting where players assume the role of a 'guardian' of the last city on Earth.
As mentioned, many fans and gamers assume that Destiny PC's release date will be announced and set for a 2015 release. Watch out for any hints of the Destiny PC beta from their official accounts.
