Game of Thrones Season 5 Release Date and Spoiler: Gentle Giant Hodor Not Longer Included
"Game of Thrones'" latest spoiler is that it would include some scenes from George R.R. Martin's "Winds of Winter." After the book's major delays, it is now released and rumors had it that some scenes of the new book will be included in the 5th season of the famous TV series. Some of the casts who played the characters in the "Winds of Winter" were seen in a picture together, sparking these rumors.
The confirmed casts are the following: Roger Ashton-Griffiths playing the role of Mace Tyrell, Ian Beattie as Meryn Trant, Mark Gatiss playing the role of Tycho Nestoris, Maisie Williams playing the role of Arya Stark. These are the same people included in the photo.
However, two characters who would not be included in the fifth season are Brank Stark and Hodor, the gentle giant. HBO wants to focus more on some of the characters. HBO is allowed to do this because the company already clarified once that it is not following the books to the letter anyway. The network is making changes as it sees fit, while simultaneously staying loyal to the plots of the stories at least. Fans understand this.
The Game of Thrones Season 5 will be aired next year on January, but the books will be available on October 28 of 2014.
