Iron Man 4 News and Rumors: According to Robert Downey Jr., No confirmed news if Iron Man 4 is a go!
There is still no absolute announcement if there will be an Iron Man 4. After all, Robert Downey Jr. himself confirmed that there are no plans for a fourth installment of the popular Marvel comic book adaptation. However, there is a possibility that the Iron Man 4 movie, if there will be, would take on a different storyline - that is if Pepper, played by Gwyneth Paltrow, or War Machine will headline the film.
As we all know, War Machine aka James Rhodes, played by Don Cheadle, is one of the few people close to Tony Stark. He first came out on Iron Man 2 and reprised his role in Iron Man 3. He will also be appearing in the upcoming Avengers movie. If one will base it on the comic books, War Machine took the role of Iron Man for a time due to a request by Tony himself. However, Pepper may also have an equal chance to be the next Iron Man as according to the third film, it was shown that Pepper is adept on how the armor works and had a brief stint around it.
However, as Robert Downey Jr. would say, fans will have to wait for Marvel to confirm whether there will be an Iron Man 4 at all.
Looks like fans will have to wait with bated breath for any signs of an Iron Man 4 release date.
