The Mentalist Season 7: What will the last season be like?
The Mentalist season 6 ended just pretty well for both of its lead actors - Simon Baker as Patrick Jane and Robin Tunney as Teresa Lisbon. So where does Red John enter from this?
The Mentalist Season 7 of the series will pick up two weeks from the season 6 finale where Lisbon and Jane's long awaited kiss finally happened. Though there are still some things that needs solving, show creator Bruno Heller hints out that there will be a perfect ending that will pass through a rough road for them.
There is also going to be a new member of Jane's team, an FBI rookie named Michelle Vega played by Emily Swallow. Aside from new characters, some also will return such as Dennis Abbott (Rockman Dunbar) to reunite with his former special agent boss Dylan Baker from 'The Good Wife' as Bill Peterson.
The Mentalist Season 7 episode guide has been confirmed. Some of it are the first, second and third. The Mentalist season 7 episode 1 is entitled "Nothing but Blue Skies" followed by "The Greybar Hotel" and "Orange Blossom Ice Cream". Simon Baker was reported to direct some episodes of the last season which was hinted to be the season's fourth episode.
Early in May, CBS confirmed the renewal of the series for its seventh season consisting of 13 episodes. The mentalist season 7 will premiere sometime in the mid-season of 2015 without a release date being confirmed yet.
