iPod Touch 6G Specs, Reveals, News, Reviews, Teasers and Updates: Apple Provides the Release Date for the Device
Finally Apple has announced the release date for the iPod Touch 6G. In a report by Mobile Hub, the release date for the iPod Touch 6g coincides with the iPad Air 2, as well as the iPad Mini 3 launch and this is scheduled to happen during Apple's upcoming iPad event. As such, the rumors suggest that the event is slated for sometime in October a month after the release of the iPhone 6. Some tech experts like Tom Bones have been predicting that the iPod Touch 6G release is going to be released next to the iPhone 6 however, this would prove to be a conflict of interest especially in the case of the iPod Touch because the trend favors the iPhone more than the other device which would thus be counter-productive in this case.
Aside from the iPod Touch 6G release date, the fans are curious as to the new features the iOS media player will provide. Since it is an upcoming iOS model it can be expected that the device will get Apple's upcoming operating system which is also scheduled for launch this 2014. Some of the iOS 8 features which would be available for the iPod Touch 6G as well as other devices such as the iPad Mini 3 and the iPad Air 2 include the Touch ID finger print technology. The Touch ID is Apple's fingerprint technology recognition tool for security as well as convenience purposes. The new generation Samsung devices come available with a face recognition tool to counter the Touch ID platform is for security as well as convenience options.
Apple released an iPod Touch last generation model which apparently that came available with a 16GB model with a camera. Apparently it is expected the next generation 6G will come with better specs to increase incentive. The price for the device has not yet been provided.
