iPod Touch 6G Release date, Specs and Latest News: To be released in 2 weeks time?
Apple has finally revealed the release date of the much awaited iPod Touch 6G.
In a report by The Mobile Hub via the Franchise Herald, the release date will coincide with the Apple event after a month from iPhone 6's release date. The event will also launch the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3. The scheduled event will be this coming October 22.
Two years ago, iPod 5 was released and it garnered a lot of positive reviews for the major changes applied in the iPod Touch line, including its 4-inch display, a slim body, and multiple color options. It was also integrated with Siri and iSight to virtually match with the iPhone device.
Along with the reports, the new iPod device will be incorporated with the new iOS 8 and the Touch ID; an Apple's signature tool for greater handiness and security.
The Cupertino tech giant has not provided any detailed specs as of yet. But we definitely assume that it would take the latest specs of the iPhone 6, hope so.
According to an article by Breathe Cast: TIME magazine also wrote that Apple might be facing an aggressive decline of market demand for iPod Touch devices, especially since the iPhone and other Android devices have similar features and capabilities.
