The upcoming episode 3 of Homeland season 4 is called "Shalwar Kameez". The new season of Homeland started with a special two-episode premiere, and the third episode is ready to introduce Claire Danes as the new station chief of Islamabad, Pakistan.
Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) is heading for the Middle East to connect with an asset. She wants to investigate the sources of her late co-worker and CIA chief Sandy Bachman in order to discover the truth behind the deadly drone strike against terrorist Haissam Haqqani.
As in the sneak preview of the upcoming episode, Carrie's asset in the Middle East might just be one of the drone strike survivors: Aayan Ibrahim, the nephew of Haqqani.
In the preview clip, Carrie says, "You're in trouble, Aayan", and is later seen asking for more details regarding the incident, "You are part of an important story...I want to be the one to tell it".
We will also see Saul reunite with Carrie, "It looks like I reached out to you for help", but "That's not exactly the message I want to send," Carrie tells Saul.
We will also see Quinn, struggling to make peace with Sandy's death, and CIA agent Dar Adal is about to trigger Quinn's rage, "If she [Carrie] hadn't been in that car, Sandy Bachman would be alive today...You took your eyes off Sandy to save Carrie", Dar says, and Quinn almost chokes him to death, but eventually Quinn lets go, "Well done, Peter...I knew you weren't that far gone," Dar tells Quinn.
Watch "Shalwar Kameez", the third episode of Homeland season 4, on Sunday October 12 at 9PM on Showtime.
