Sinister Six Movie News, Cast, Plot, Release date and Other Rumors: Sinister Six to Premiere in 2016 But Unsure if Garfield will Reprise His Role as Spiderman
Spidey's villains are set to have their own film as the Sinister Six movie will be released by 2016. If you have been living under a rock, The Sinister Six is a spin-off dedicated to the villains of Spider-Man and it will be directed by the mind behind The Cabin in the Woods, Drew Goddard.
Unfortunately there has yet to be any news on the Sinister Six cast yet. But the good news is, the Sinister Six lineup has already been released. Intended to be featured in the movie are the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Mysterio, Vulture and Kraven the Hunter. The Lizard, another Spider-Man villain, is yet to be confirmed if he will be added to the all-villain team.
Andrew Garfield, who plays Spider-Man in the recent two adaptations, shares the possibility that he might don Spidey's mask for the movie and is thrilled at the thought of working with Goddard.
However, rumors are flying that Sony may take Garfield out of the role and replace him with a new Spider-Man. This still remains to be a rumor so breathe easy for now Garfield fans.
In terms of the Sinister Six plot, it seems like the storyline is still in the works. But fans are encouraged to read the comic book to know what could possibly happen in the movie.
The Sinister Six movie release date is set for a premiere by November 2016.
