After reaping box-office success and earning good reviews from movie critics, there are Guardians of the Galaxy 2 rumors buzzing around in the industry. After all, it is natural for producers to give moviegoers a second serving of the first movie of Guardians of the Galaxy. The sequel is scheduled to debut in 2017.
The original cast members of the first movie are Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, and Benicio del Toro. Will the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel have the same set of actors? Nothing is final as of this moment, but all we know is that there will be certain changes for sure. More female characters perhaps.
According to Cinemablend, "Director and screenwriter James Gunn is currently hard at work drafting the storyline of Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Peter Quill will remain as the only Earthling in the story. He further said that they'd like to explore the mystery of Peter Quill's father, elaborate on Yondu, and give more screen time to the members of the Nova Corps."
