Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson has been keeping busy, working on a new film with Benicio Del Toro titled Paradise Lost. They have released their first international trailer for the upcoming movie, which you can check out above.
Plot: Young surfer Nick (Hutcherson) thinks all his dreams have come true when he goes to visit his brother in Colombia. Against an idyllic backdrop of blue lagoons and white beaches he falls madly in love with a beautiful Colombian girl called Maria (Traisac). It all seems perfect until he meets her uncle, one Pablo Escobar (del Toro).
The film is written and directed by Andrea Di Stefano and produced by Dimitri Rassam. It was made on a $25 million budget, which is pretty reasonable for todays movies.
Paradise Lost is set to release to theaters on November 5th, 2014.
The 21-year-old Hutcherson is best known for his role as Peta Mellark in the Hunger Games series, co-starring alongside Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss Everdeen) which has been a huge worldwide success at the box-office. They are set to release their next movie The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 in November 2014 to theaters worldwide.
The film is directed by Francis Lawrence from a screenplay by Danny Strong and Peter Craig and produced by Nina Jacobson's Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik. The novel on which the film is based is the third in a trilogy written by Suzanne Collins that has over 65 million copies in print in the U.S. alone.
