Star Wars 7 Release Date 2015, Spoilers and Filming Resumed After Harrison Ford Injury
Star Wars: Episode VII star Harrison Ford broke his leg in June while on the set for the new film. "His surgery was successful and he will begin rehab shortly," the spokesperson said at the time. "He's doing well and looks forward to returning to work."
The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that after a delay in production to let Ford heal, filming has resumed and is back on track at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, England.
More information is surfacing from the set of Star Wars: Episode VII and Entertainment Weekly has collected the spoiler news (if the information is true) including costumes, Millennium Falcon and villain rumors. You can check out their full article HERE.
NEW STORMTROOPER HELMETS: In this video promoting the Force For Change charity initiative, director J.J. Abrams showed off what an X-Wing fighter looks like 30-some years after the events of Return of the Jedi. It stands to reason that some of the other hardware has evolved as well. Indie Revolver's Jay Carlson posted these images of what appears to be a sleek new stormtrooper helmet, but that only raises the question: Why are stormtroopers still hanging around if the Empire has fallen?
HAN SOLO'S RIDE: Although we already know that a full-scale Millennium Falcon was built for the film.
VILLAIN RUMORS: There will surely be more than one bad guy in Episode VII, and they may not all be guys. But when Abrams released an image of a robotic arm this week, that unleashed a new wave of speculation. Latino Review's Da7e said the villains will be an order known as The Inquisitors, while Badass Digest's Faraci one-upped that by saying their leader will be a cyborg in a black cloak with glowing red eyes. That was followed by Indie Revolver's Carlson posting another purloined pic of just such a figure, clutching the crushed helmet of Darth Vader.
Star Wars: Episode VII is being directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing, and John Williams returns as the composer. The movie opens worldwide on December 18, 2015.

Christina Chong, who is best known for her role in 24: Live Another Day and the British actress was also just cast in the upcoming live-action Xbox Originals web-series Halo: Nightfall. It is unknown what role she will play in the upcoming sci-fi film.
Along with Chong, the cast has added Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, John Boyega and Daisy Ridley.
Among the cast members who will not be returning for Star Wars 7 are Billy Dee Williams Ewan McGregor (ghost Obi-Wan). Star Wars: Episode VII screenplay was written by Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan.
