Star Trek 3 News, 2016 Plot And Release Date: Mayor Of Seoul Met With Jeffrey Chernov, Producer Of Star Trek 3 At Paramount Pictures Studio And Agreed To Film A Portion Of The Upcoming Movie In Seoul
We have the latest for you on the news, 2016 plot, release date and updates of Star Trek 3 . The upcoming Star Trek movie is causing a lot of mayhem as many rumors and speculations surrounding its production are coming up though many claims are still unclear. This movie will be the twelfth installment of the science fiction franchise which means Chris Pine (Commander James T. Kirk) and Zachary Quinto (Spock) will do at least one more film in the reboot series. Looking back on the previous installment, Star Trek Edge of Darkness that saw our favorite commander and the weird first lieutenant Spock battle to keep the Galaxy safe, was a huge success meaning to say the upcoming movie will be no different.
On a sad note, according to a post by Christian Post, the upcoming movie will have a different director as long time star trek director, J. J. Abrams has his hands full as he is behind the production of the upcoming 'Star Wars Episode VII'. However, Abrams confirmed that he will not be left out as he plans to be one of the producers of Star Trek 3. This reports were coined from Collider.
Rumors have not been put to rest as there are many speculations that Star Trek 3 is scheduled for a 2016 release date and according to Star Trek fan site, Trekmovie indicated that filming would start in Asia specifically in the bustling city of Seoul, South Korea. The fan site pointed a meeting held in Los Angeles where the Mayor of Seoul visited Paramount towers to discuss about the Hollywood Blockbuster project.
On the Fan site one can find an official post that was put on Facebook by the mayor of Seoul on 29th September, "Today I met with Jeffrey Chernov, producer of Star Trek 3 at paramount pictures studio and agreed to film a portion of the upcoming movie in Seoul," the mayor wrote. Nonetheless Paramount pictures have not spoken or commented in regards to that issue.
In other exciting news. Academy Award winning cinematographer Claudia Miranda ("Life of pi") is set to work alongside Roberto Orci to produce the movie. Miranda is the genius behind the cool and stunning visual qualities of 'Oblivion', 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' and 'TRON: Legacy.
