Google Nexus 6 Release Date, Phone Specs, Price, Features, Pre-Orders And Latest Updates: The Google Nexus 6 And Android 5 Lollipop Are Now Official And Available For Pre-Order This Month
We have the latest for you on the Google Nexus 6 release date, phone specs, price, features, pre-orders and latest updates. For the Google products fans, there is good news for you. Google has finally announced the long-awaited Google Nexus 6. This is an enormous smartphone which could easily be mistaken for a tablet that functions as a phone.
As it was expected, the new Nexus 6 is running on the Android 5 Lollipop operating system and is quite a big smartphone. According to Tech Radar, the Nexus 6 has a 5.9-inch screen display and its 10mm thick. It also has a massive 2560*1440 pixel resolution. The only other phone which can boast of that kind of a resolution is the 5.5-inch LG G3. The fans will like the huge display of the smartphone as it will enable them to watch videos, look at pictures and read stuff very easily. A large and slightly thick smartphone means that it has a better battery. The Nexus 6 boasts a battery of 3220mAh which is a good thing.
The smartphone will also have an Adreno 420, 2.7GHz processor and 3GB RAM. The smartphone also comes in two packages, 32GB and 64GB. Moreover, it has an f/20 13MP back camera. The charging technology of the smartphone is also impressive. It has a quick charge feature which can allow you to get about 6 hours of life with a charge of 15 minutes only. The device is also running on the latest Android operating system, the Android 5. So far, the Nexus 6 comes in two color ranges like the Nexus 4 and 5; black and white.
Tech Radar reports that the smartphone also has a capability of shooting 4K video and has optical image stabilization. As much as it sounds great, we just have to wait and see how it pulls through. However, there has been a disappointment with the camera performance and image quality as more was expected of the smartphone.
When it comes to the price, you will be able to pre-order the smartphone from 23rd October for $649. It is surprising to see how expensive the smartphone is considering that it comes from a line of smartphones which is known to be affordable. However, the jump in the price can be explained by the premium specs that the phone has. Stay with us for more news.
