For so long we have been anticipating for Power Rangers Movie 2016. The wait might seem long but the timeline was just enough to make us eager to watch and yet calmly wait. Unfortunately, the timeline might be moved to a much later date as the movie producer, Roberto Orci decided to quit on this project, according to LatinPost. For those who are asking why and then 'what now', here are some interesting facts that we have gathered about the movie.
Months ago, Lionsgate and Saban Brands had announced that they are working for a Power Rangers movie reboot. For fans who think that Power Rangers 2 movie will just be a remake of the earlier 90's release version, well it will be both near and far from that thought. Power Rangers 2 remake is targeted to be even more exciting and awesome than its earlier releases. It is even due for release then by July 22, 2016.
With Orci dropping out due to schedule conflicts to 'Star Trek 3' to which he is in-charge of directing and penning down the script, the delay was to be expected. Saban and Lionsgate though had not yet released any change in the Power Rangers movie release date. The studio also has not made any official announcement with regards to their casting.
Although the Power Rangers series was well-loved by many, the 90s film had been kind of a flop and so the Power Rangers movie project team aims to really surpass the optimism and leave a brand new memory to the name Power Rangers: Mighty Morphines.
