Android 4.4.4 KitKat is ready to roll out ahead of the newest Android 5.0 Lollipop to some Samsung devices in the market. Such handsets include Samsung Galaxy S5, Note 3, Note 2, and S4. Other devices that will receive the update are Note 3 LTE, Note 3 Neo, and Galaxy S4 LTE.

To jumpstart the firmware's installation, a notification on OTA will pop, prompting users to tap the button with Download Now to access the option for installing the update. For manual set-up, users may check for Software Updates, which can be found under Settings and if update appears, users may install it from there.

Based on Christian Today, the update offers for S5 are quite low despite the promise of Samsung of the all-out release. Users of Samsung Galaxy S5 from Verizon have already enjoyed the update. However, T-Mobile has been placing the update forward to a much lesser famous Samsung handsets including Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3.

Samsung has also initially announced about the update Android 4.4.4 KitKat. Users were advised to patiently wait because the tech giant could be in the process of sorting out some logical release dates for several Samsung devices particular the Galaxy S4 Mini, Note 2, S4 Mini Duos, Note 2 LTE, Grand 2 Duos, and Grand 2.

The update will also feature the integration of TouchWiz user interface. It also addresses some bug issues as well as overhauls the S-Health tracking support for the qualified devices. There are also inbuilt improvements on sleep, weight, coach, and stress. In addition to that, users can now also toggle camera shutter sound off and on through navigating in the camera settings.

According to Breathecast, in order for you to download Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS, you should have at least 285 MB free space in your device. While installing the firmware, it's important for users to make sure that their smartphones also have enough battery life and strong internet connection as this will help you avoid any interruptions. Users should also back up their files before updating their OS.
