"All of this is very exciting and unexpected," says the Lafayette, LA singer who is also known as Briana Babineaux. "None of this was planned. A friend of mine put a tape of me singing a song on You Tube and then all of these incredible things began to happen and I'm humbled by all of them."
Among Bri's recent highlights are news that she'll be performing on BET's "Bobby Jones Gospel" program this fall and just yesterday she was summoned to the Louisiana state capital where she was honored by the Louisiana House of Representatives for her achievements as a student and rising star. Next weekend, she makes her first Big Apple concert appearance when she takes the stage at Milk River Restaurant in Brooklyn, NY on Sunday, June 14th @ 8 PM.
