The FX thriller/horror anthology series, American Horror Story is back and with a season 4 of surprising twists and turns.
According to the American Horror Story Season 4 wiki post, this season will be set on Jupiter, Florida where one of the little freak shows of the 1950's struggle to keep business afloat. The story will also revolve on conflicts between the "freaks" and unknown evil forces that do not seem to meet them eye-to-eye and promises to feature two interesting characters: a bearded lady and a clown killer.
Returning to the show are Wes Bentley, John Carroll Lynch and Fin Wittrock. Included in the American Horror Story season 4 cast are Sarah Paulson (Bette and Dot Tattler), Evan Peters (Jimmy Darling), Emma Roberts (Maggie), Kathy Bates (Ethel Darling), Angela Bassett (Desiree Dupree), Michael Chiklis (Wendell del Toledo), Frances Conroy, Denis O'Hare, Jamie Brewer, and Gabourey Sidibe.
Fans would also love to know that Naomi Grossman from "Asylum" will be reprising her role as Pepper. Presumably, Freak Show will be showing her time prior her lockdown at Briarcliff. Jessica Lange will also be returning as Elsa Mars, the alleged ring master of the freak show. However, this will be her final season. Viewers can expect a wonderful final bow from her in American Horror Story season 4
Bates had shared that viewers can expect a scary season even saying that she had problems sleeping after filming her first scene. Yikes.
It was further added by Tim Minear that American Horror Story Season 4 will be very much unlike the previous seasons.
American Horror Story Season 4 air date is set on October 15, 2014.
