Brett Younker has issued a heartfelt call to prayer and expectation as Passion Conference prepares for Passion 2026, urging believers to contend for a fresh move of God among the next generation.
Quoting Isaiah 26:8-"Yes, Lord. Walking in the ways of your truth we wait eagerly for You. For Your Name and renown are the desire of our souls"-Younker reflected on more than 15 years of witnessing God's transforming work through the Passion movement. He described Passion as a sacred space where countless young adults have encountered Jesus, discovered purpose, and been sent out with renewed faith.
"For the last 15 years, I've had the privilege to watch God work in the lives of young adults at Passion," Younker shared. "It's changed my life. Only eternity knows the full impact of this space on the earth."
Younker emphasized that while Passion is not a new work, it stands firmly within the ongoing story of the Church-stretching back to Acts 2, when Peter first proclaimed the gospel and the Spirit was poured out in power. Yet, he noted, the present moment carries unique weight and urgency.
"These days we are living in are consequential," he said. "This is our moment to lift high the Name above every other name."
As Passion 2026 approaches, Younker expressed continued confidence that God is still moving-bringing hope, healing, and purpose to a rising generation. He invited believers around the world to partner through prayer, specifically asking for God's presence to be unmistakable during the three-day gathering.
Younker encouraged prayer that the Word would be preached with clarity and power, that worship would open hearts to heaven's movement, and that the message of Jesus would echo far beyond the conference walls to the nations.
"We're stepping into Passion 2026 still believing, still trusting," Younker said. "Pray that heaven would break through. Pray that the Spirit moves in power. Pray that the nations would hear the good news about Jesus because of these days."
