Boxer and social media personality Jake Paul briefly referenced faith during a rally appearance with President Donald Trump in Hebron, Kentucky, telling the crowd he believes "God is with us."

Paul joined Trump on stage Wednesday at Verst Logistics Contract Packaging Facility, where the president was addressing supporters and speaking about manufacturing and economic issues. During the event, Trump praised Paul's determination and invited him to address the crowd.

"This guy has guts," Trump said while introducing Paul. "He's a courageous guy and a talented guy. He's a hell of a fighter."

Paul, who grew up in Westlake, Ohio, not far from the Kentucky venue, spoke about perseverance and standing up for one's beliefs. The 29-year-old influencer-turned-boxer credited Trump with inspiring a sense of courage.

"What Mr. Trump has taught me is courage," Paul said. "We never back down from a fight, even if they're much bigger than you."

Paul also spoke about his upbringing and encouraged young people in the audience to make their voices heard.

"There's a lot of young kids in here - the future of America," he said. "My dad taught me to fight, and all of our voices matter in America. I'm never afraid to speak the truth."

Toward the end of his remarks, Paul referenced faith while addressing the crowd.

"I know God is with us," Paul said. "I know he wants us on the right side of history. Everyone here has to do their part. God's got us."

The brief remarks added a spiritual note to the event, which primarily focused on economic issues and domestic manufacturing. Paul also spoke about the importance of factories and American industry, saying the country needs more facilities like the one hosting the rally.

"We need more factories like this thriving all over the country," he said.

Paul is widely known for his career as a professional boxer, influencer, and entrepreneur, as well as his large social media following. While he has not announced any plans to enter politics, his appearance alongside Trump has generated significant online discussion.

Trump also praised Paul again after the speech, calling him "a courageous guy" and highlighting his willingness to step into challenging situations - both in the boxing ring and in public life.
