Lauren Daigle did not just post about it on Instagram. She showed up.

Last week, the two-time Grammy Award winner visited Convoy of Hope's headquarters in Springfield, Missouri, for their International Women's Day celebration - performing live, sitting down for a Q&A, and using her platform to put a spotlight on one of the most impactful faith-based humanitarian organizations in the world.

What happened at the event

The sold-out event focused on the challenges faced by women and girls around the world, including gender inequality, hunger, poverty, and lack of opportunities. Daigle treated the audience to both an interview and a live performance.

Attendees also packed 8,700 feminine hygiene kits and experienced an immersive walk-through exhibit highlighting the struggles and triumphs of women and girls in Convoy's programs. It was not just a concert. It was a call to action dressed up as a celebration.

Daigle shared her own thoughts on the visit on Instagram, writing: "What an amazing visit to the Convoy of Hope headquarters during their International Women's Day celebration. We had so much fun talking about music, empowerment, and the impact of lifting others up. We are so inspired by Convoy's mission to feed one million children every day."

Who is Convoy of Hope - and why it matters

Convoy of Hope is a faith-based humanitarian organization whose driving passion is to feed the world and deliver hope where it is needed most. Their Women's Empowerment program focuses specifically on job training, economic empowerment, access to health services, and supporting women in leadership roles across the globe.

The mission Daigle highlighted - feeding one million children every day - is not a slogan. It is the operational target of an organization that has been quietly doing some of the most significant humanitarian work in the Christian world for decades.

Why Lauren Daigle

Daigle is a two-time Grammy, eight-time Billboard Music, four-time American Music, and twelve-time GMA Dove Award winner. She has performed at the Super Bowl, garnered over a billion streams, and completed sold-out world tours across four continents. She could fill any stage in the world.

She chose this one - and that says something.

Convoy of Hope noted in their own post that Daigle "teaches us that we can all use our voices for good" and thanked her for helping "empower women all over the world."

What is next for Lauren Daigle

Beyond her humanitarian work, Daigle has a busy year ahead. She and Sadie Robertson Huff are set to co-host the 2026 K-LOVE Fan Awards on May 24 at Nashville's Grand Ole Opry House - marking Daigle's first time as co-host and adding to her record as the most awarded female in K-LOVE Fan Awards history with nine wins.

Her summer tour dates are also on sale now at laurendaigle.com.

For now though, the moment at Convoy of Hope is the one worth sitting with. An artist at the top of her field, in a room full of women packing hygiene kits for girls across the world, talking about what it means to lift others up. That is exactly the kind of story Christian music was made to tell.
