It's been 20 years. And today, Miley Cyrus is coming home.
The Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special premieres today, Tuesday, March 24, exclusively on Disney+. Disney+ titles typically drop at 3 a.m. ET / 12 a.m. PT on their premiere date - so if you're on the East Coast, it's already live by the time most people wake up.
What is this special exactly?
Miley Cyrus sits down with host Alex Cooper for an interview revisiting the moments, music, and memories of Hannah Montana, complete with never-before-seen archival footage and recreated sets from the original show - including the Stewart family living room and the iconic Hannah Montana closet.
Who's coming back?
Emily Osment (Lilly), Mitchel Musso (Oliver), Jason Earles (Jackson), Moisés Arias (Rico), and Dolly Parton are all listed in the credits, though whether they appear in person or through archive footage hasn't been fully confirmed. Dolly Parton - Miley's real-life godmother and one of the most openly faith-driven icons in music history - is a name fans are watching for most.
What songs will she perform?
Classics like "Best of Both Worlds" - which Cyrus hasn't performed since 2008 - and "The Climb" are set to reappear. Cyrus is also teasing a brand-new original track.
How to watch
You need a Disney+ subscription. A basic ad-supported Disney+ and Hulu bundle starts at $12.99 a month, though a promotional $4.99/month deal for three months is available through today, March 24. The full original series is also streaming on Disney+ if you want to go back to the beginning.
Twenty years later, the best of both worlds is back - and it's streaming right now.
