The highly anticipated newest release from the critically acclaimed Jason McGee & The Choir is officially here. Their newest record, Another Tomorrow, released yesterday and is now available across all streaming platforms. This 14-track collection showcases a variety of worship songs, words of encouragement, and anthems of perseverance that the world of gospel music won't soon forget.
Already having claimed a myriad of recognition from the album's first single, "God This Time," this project is set to be the industry go-to for the perfect mix of musicality, redemption, and the testimony of God's faithfulness. For fans of Kirk Franklin's Rebirth or Donald Lawrence & The Tri-City Singers' Finale, this album is a must-listen.
When asked about the project, McGee shared:
"This project was especially personal for me. People close to me know that I went through a battle with depression and suicidal thoughts, and trying to see 'another tomorrow' became increasingly challenging by the day. However, through it all, God showed up and met me where I was to affirm within me that He still has His hands on my life."
McGee continues, "Shortly after, God began to give me songs to write. I've never considered myself to be a songwriter, which is how I know that these words and melodies came straight from Him. Now here we are, a full album later, on the other side of victory over depression-now I'm able to physically see 'Another Tomorrow.' These songs lyrically embody the struggles that He's brought me through, and if He's done it for me, He can do it for anyone who listens."

McGee's fans know him for several major contributions to the gospel music industry. He was the lead vocalist on the #1 single "Not About Us" from Bishop Noel Jones and The City of Refuge Sanctuary Choir. He also assembled the Maverick City gospel choir and directed it for two of their tours while promoting their 4x Grammy-winning album Kingdom along with Kirk Franklin.
Reflecting on his experiences, McGee says, "I am truly grateful for every single experience that has led me to this point. I've been fortunate enough to study under some of our industry's giants, and I feel like I've incorporated all of their different styles of worship along with my own background to create something relatable for anyone."
