Country artist Ella Langley is opening up about a deeply personal moment of faith that came during one of the most overwhelming seasons of her life.
Speaking at the Country Radio Seminar (CRS) in February 2026, Langley revealed that just days before taking home five awards at the 2026 Academy of Country Music (ACM Awards), she experienced what she described as the worst panic attack she had ever faced. Despite her rising success, she admitted to battling intense anxiety and imposter syndrome, even questioning her faith in the process.
"I was overwhelmed," Langley shared, reflecting on the emotional weight leading up to her big night. "I didn't feel like I belonged in those rooms."
But in the midst of that struggle, an unexpected encounter shifted everything.
While riding in an Uber shortly before the ACM Awards, Langley noticed something unusual-a stream of white cars passing by. Moments later, her driver turned to her and delivered a message she believes was divinely timed.
"He said, 'God's got you. I lost my baby son and I thought that was gonna kill me, but God had me the whole entire time-and I just felt called to tell you that right now,'" she recalled.
For Langley, the moment was unmistakable.
She described it as a powerful "God moment" that broke through her fear and reminded her she was not alone. "I accepted that presence that has been there the whole time," she said.
The experience marked a turning point-not just emotionally, but spiritually. What began as a season of doubt became an opportunity for renewed trust, as Langley recognized God's presence even in her lowest moment.
Her story is a reminder that success does not eliminate struggle-but faith can meet us right in the middle of it.
As Langley continues her ascent in country music, her testimony adds a deeper dimension to her journey-one shaped not only by talent and achievement, but by resilience, vulnerability, and a growing awareness of God's sustaining presence
