If you grew up with the Statler Brothers on the radio or on Sunday drives, this one is going to hit close to home.

Wilson Fairchild - the country-gospel duo made up of cousins Wil Reid and Langdon Reid, sons of legendary Statler Brothers members Harold and Don Reid - officially releases their new album American Songbook: Country Classics and Gospel Favorites today, April 24, 2026, via Gaither Music Group.

And it is exactly what it sounds like - warm, rich, and full of songs that feel like home.

Music That Runs Three Generations Deep

Growing up on the road with their fathers, Statler Brothers legends Don and Harold Reid, Wil and Langdon were immersed in country standards and gospel hymns from their earliest days. Those songs weren't just background music - they were the family language.

And now that musical legacy runs even deeper: Wil and Langdon both have sons - Jack and Davis Reid - who also perform together as a duo. Three generations of Reids carrying the same songs forward. That's not just family. That's ministry.

What's on the Album

The project features fresh interpretations of beloved classics including "Amazing Grace," "Always on My Mind," "Blue Moon of Kentucky," "Bridge Over Troubled Water," and Hank Williams' "I Saw The Light."

Filmed live at The Mulehouse in Columbia, Tennessee, the companion DVD captures 15 performances in an intimate concert setting for Gaither Music. Produced by Michael Sykes and Johnny Minick, the audio recording includes 13 tracks blending country, gospel, folk, and early rock influences.

The lead singles - "I Saw The Light" and a harmony-driven cover of Bill Withers' "Lean On Me" - have already been turning heads, giving listeners a taste of what the full project delivers.

Where You Can Watch and Listen

The TV special will air on TBN, RFD-TV, The Word Network, Vision, TCT, and Heartland. A radio special will premiere on SiriusXM Radio, and music from the project will also be featured on Bill Gaither's SiriusXM enLighten channel, Channel 150.

The album and DVD are available now at Gaither.com and all major streaming platforms.

Why This Is Worth Your Time

In a music landscape that's moving faster than ever, American Songbook is a deliberate, unhurried breath of fresh air. Songs like "Amazing Grace" don't need updating - they need voices that honor them. Wilson Fairchild does exactly that.

As Psalm 145:4 reminds us - "One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts." That verse might as well be the mission statement for everything Wilson Fairchild does. The songs change. The message never does.
