Marking two decades of faithful ministry, Phil Wickham is celebrating 20 years of leading worship across the world-an achievement defined not only by longevity, but by profound spiritual influence and musical consistency.

Since the release of his debut album Give You My World in 2003, Wickham has built an expansive catalog of fourteen worship albums, including Cannons (2007), Heaven & Earth (2009), The Ascension (2013), Children of God (2016), Living Hope (2018), Hymn of Heaven (2021), I Believe (2023), and most recently Song of the Saints (2025). His music has become a cornerstone of contemporary worship, sung in churches across denominations and continents.

Among his many milestones, Wickham's breakout single "This Is Amazing Grace" achieved Platinum certification from the RIAA and topped the 2014 year-end Christian Airplay chart-cementing his place as one of the most impactful voices in modern worship music.

His ministry has extended far beyond recordings. Wickham has consistently traveled globally, leading worship in churches and major gatherings, including events like Soul Survivor. Over the years, he has shared the stage with leading Christian acts such as MercyMe, Audio Adrenaline, the David Crowder Band, and more recently joined forces with Brandon Lake for the widely attended Summer Worship Nights Tour from 2023 through 2025.

Yet behind the success lies a story of resilience. In 2014, Wickham underwent vocal cord surgery that left him unable to sing for a period and uncertain about his future. That season of silence and struggle became a turning point-shaping both his faith and artistry, and ultimately inspiring the deeply personal themes found in Children of God (2016).

Offstage, Wickham's life remains grounded in family and community. He married Mallory Plotnik in 2008, and together they are raising four children in San Diego, California, where he continues to stay connected to the local church.

Reflecting on the milestone, Wickham recently shared, "20 beautiful years of seeing God's grace and faithfulness... I don't take one moment of it for granted." His words echo what many listeners already know-his legacy is not just measured in albums or accolades, but in lives impacted through worship.

As he steps into the next chapter, Phil Wickham's journey stands as a testament to faith, perseverance, and the enduring power of music to draw people closer to God.
