Switchfoot has a new album arriving June 26. Now they have the tour to go with it.

The GRAMMY and Dove Award-winning rock band has announced the Forever Now Tour - a 38-city fall headlining run with special guest Anberlin - named after their forthcoming fourteenth studio album Forever Now, due June 26.

The tour kicks off September 17 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and hits major markets including Los Angeles, Chicago, Nashville, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Boston, and Atlanta before wrapping November 21 in Seattle.

Bassist Tim Foreman summed up why the road matters to the band: "We poured everything we have into making Forever Now, but we always say that an album isn't finished until you take it on tour. Playing new songs on the road and seeing them connect with fans every single night is a gift. These songs are incredibly meaningful to us - increasingly relevant in the strange, strange times we live in."

Jon Foreman added a word about their touring partners: "We've been friends with Anberlin for years. We've got so much love and respect for them - it's a true gift to be touring with Anberlin again." Anberlin's Nate Young echoed the feeling: "It's been 15 years since we've toured with Switchfoot and we couldn't be more stoked."

The album behind the tour is among the most thematically ambitious of Switchfoot's career. Forever Now centers on the emotional journey of confronting a person's final day on Earth - the questions one might ask when faced with their own mortality - and what that reckoning means for how we live right now. Jon Foreman has spoken about friends he has lost, and the way their last days together only became visible in hindsight. It is the kind of album that asks you to pay attention to what actually matters.

Ahead of the fall tour, Switchfoot will also perform at their annual Bro-Am Beach Fest on June 13 in San Diego - a community benefit event dedicated to supporting unhoused and at-risk youth through music, art, and surfing. Giving back has always been as much a part of Switchfoot's identity as the music itself.

A new single, "Absolution," dropped May 15. Forever Now arrives June 26. Tickets are available now at switchfoot.com.
