Five days before the 13th Annual K-LOVE Fan Awards take the stage at Nashville's Grand Ole Opry House, hosts Lauren Daigle and Sadie Robertson Huff have a message for voters - and it goes beyond the trophies.

In a video posted to the K-LOVE Fan Awards Facebook page, the two Louisiana natives spoke directly to fans: every vote cast this year is tied to something bigger.

"Every vote you cast is helping make hope visible through our partnership with Open Eyes," Daigle said in the clip. "Let every song, every story, point back to Him."

Open Eyes - formally the With Open Eyes Foundation - exists to accelerate the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the unreached and underserved. The organization equips local leaders, called Mobile Messengers, for evangelism, church planting, and relief and development in some of the world's hardest-to-reach communities.

In the video, Robertson Huff described the heart behind the partnership: "Open Eyes equips leaders in some of the hardest places in the world, sharing the gospel in word and in action. Through live centers and mobile messengers, they're walking with communities and bringing hope that's lasting."

It is a fitting partnership for an awards show built entirely on fan participation. The K-LOVE Fan Awards is the only major Christian music awards show where winners are chosen entirely by fans - no industry panels, no committee votes. This year, that vote carries a second purpose: drawing attention and momentum to a mission organization carrying the Gospel into places it has not yet reached.

Phil Wickham leads this year's nominations with four nods, while Lauren Daigle, Jamie MacDonald, Josiah Queen, Jeremy Camp, and Elevation Worship each earned three nominations apiece. Daigle herself is nominated for Artist of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, and Song of the Year for "Let It Be a Hallelujah" - all while stepping into the co-host role for the first time.

Voting closes May 23. The show is May 24 at the Grand Ole Opry House. It airs exclusively on TBN May 29 at 7:30 PM ET.
