DARA is officially making music history.
Just days after winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with her explosive anthem "Bangaranga," the 27-year-old pop star has become the first Bulgarian artist ever to land on the Billboard Global 200.
The breakout hit, written by acclaimed songwriter Dimitris Kontopoulos, debuted at No. 90 on the Billboard Global 200 this week following DARA's massive Eurovision triumph, where she scored an incredible 516 points and captured audiences across Europe and beyond.

The singer also ranked among the top 100 most-streamed artists globally this week. Celebrating the milestone, DARA shared a joyful video of herself jumping on her couch with a glass of wine in hand as fans flooded social media with congratulations.
Since her Eurovision victory, DARA's online presence has been filled with nonstop celebrations, backstage moments, interviews, and emotional fan interactions. Yet amid the excitement, one question has continued to follow the singer everywhere: what does "Bangaranga" actually mean?
According to DARA, the phrase was inspired by ancient Bulgarian ritual performers believed to drive away evil spirits. For the singer, "Bangaranga" represents choosing love over fear and overcoming anxiety, shame, and inner chaos.
"BANGARANGA EVERYONE! WE JUST WON EUROVISION," she famously wrote in her Instagram bio immediately following the historic win.
With "Bangaranga" continuing to explode globally after Eurovision, DARA's breakthrough moment is quickly becoming one of the biggest international success stories to emerge from the competition in recent years.
