bodie has never been afraid to be honest. "Almost Famous" proves it.

On May 29, the alt-rock Christian artist released his latest single "Almost Famous" alongside an official music video now live on Vevo and YouTube. The announcement on Facebook was classic bodie - two words, all caps: "ITS OUT."

The song wastes no time getting to the point. "Lost the plot along the way / learned my heart's a liar / I'm sorry that I made you wait / running after my desire," he sings - a gut-level admission that resonates with anyone who's ever gotten distracted by something that looked good but led nowhere.

At its core, "Almost Famous" is about putting faith in Jesus at the forefront of everything - including a music career - delivered with a driving beat and guitars that push it comfortably into mainstream ears.

The release follows a breakout stretch that included bodie's 2025 debut album NO SKIPS, a national tour with Colton Dixon, two Dove Award nominations for "RIP," and a grand prize win at the International Songwriting Competition for "whisper and the wind" - which stood out among more than 14,000 entries from 112 countries.

For an artist building this kind of momentum, "Almost Famous" is a bold move - choosing honesty over hype at exactly the moment when hype would have been the easier call.

"Almost Famous" is out now on all streaming platforms. Watch the official music video on YouTube.
