Alan Jackson is heading into his final bow - and now the whole country gets a front-row seat.

NBC announced today, June 4, that Jackson's farewell concert will be filmed and broadcast as a primetime special titled Alan Jackson: The Last Show. The special will air later this year on NBC and stream the next day on Peacock, celebrating Jackson's career and his final concert performance on June 27 at Nashville's Nissan Stadium.

The concert, officially titled Last Call: One More for the Road - The Finale, features a star-studded guest lineup including Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Thomas Rhett, and Lee Ann Womack, among others. Tickets sold out during presale last fall.

The special will be directed by Sam Wrench and produced by Joan of Arc StudioWorks and EverWonder Studios.

The concert will also benefit the CMT Research Foundation, which funds research for Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease - the hereditary nerve condition Jackson has been battling for years that ultimately led to his retirement from touring.

For a man who built his career on songs like Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning) and Chattahoochee - songs rooted in faith, loss, and the human experience - this farewell is less an ending and more a testament. He's going out the way he lived: honest, generous, and giving the music back to the people it always belonged to.

A specific air date for Alan Jackson: The Last Show on NBC has not yet been announced.
