It has been several days since Simone Biles shook the world with a quiet but alarming message on her Instagram Stories - and as of June 10, the most decorated gymnast in history is still recovering at home, still keeping the details private, and still promising that an explanation is coming.

Biles confirmed she is now recovering at home and following her doctors' instructions to rest. She has not disclosed what the medical emergency was, but the details she did share left little room for interpretation. In photos posted to her Instagram Stories on June 6, Biles revealed she had suffered a near-death experience - describing it as "the scariest experience of my life" - that resulted in a hospital stay.

Among the images she shared was one of her resting in bed with her two French bulldogs, Lilo and Rambo, alongside her, captioned simply "I'll be here." Another image showed her heart rate reading at 126 bpm.

The situation was made harder by the fact that her husband, NFL safety Jonathan Owens, was away in Indianapolis for Colts practice when the emergency occurred. Biles also shared photos of flower bouquets sent by her inner circle and expressed deep gratitude to those who checked in, visited, and sent their love.

She has promised her followers she will share the full story when she is ready - and for now, the world is simply grateful she is still here to tell it.

For those who have followed Simone Biles beyond the competition floor, this moment of quiet resilience is familiar. She has spoken openly about leaning on her Catholic faith through life's hardest seasons, saying, "I have a lot of faith in God. It really helps me through the tough times." The JubileeCast community continues to keep her in prayer for a full and swift recovery.
