The fallout surrounding former Rhema Bible Church co-pastor Craig Hagin has taken another dramatic turn after his parents publicly claimed their son had been living a "double life"-only for his estranged wife to accuse them of knowing about his alleged behavior for years.
During a recent service at Rhema Bible Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Kenneth W. Hagin and Lynette Hagin addressed the congregation following their son's dismissal from ministry earlier this month. The couple said they were devastated after receiving documented evidence of Craig Hagin's alleged misconduct, insisting they had been deceived by their son.
"We now know that we were deceived," Kenneth and Lynette Hagin said in a statement, explaining that Craig had hidden a secret life from his family, church leaders, and congregation.
However, Craig Hagin's estranged wife, Mia Hagin, is strongly disputing that narrative.
Speaking to The Roys Report, Mia alleges she repeatedly warned her in-laws about Craig's alleged infidelity, pornography use, and repeated encounters with prostitutes-claims she says date back nearly two decades.
According to Mia, she first confronted Lynette Hagin in 2007 after discovering emails revealing an affair. She claims she was encouraged to focus on making her husband happy, recalling being told that "happy husbands don't stray."
Years later, after allegedly discovering messages involving prostitutes, Mia says she again pleaded with her mother-in-law to intervene.
"This is your son paying for sex over and over again for years," she recalled telling Lynette.
Despite promises that the matter would be handled, Mia alleges nothing changed.
"It was easier for my in-laws to blame me than to see the truth and actually hold their son accountable," she said, adding that she eventually felt isolated from family gatherings and church functions.
Kenneth and Lynette Hagin acknowledged that previous concerns had been raised about Craig's conduct but maintained they believed his denials until recently receiving documentation they say confirmed the allegations.
Craig Hagin was removed from all leadership positions at Rhema Bible Church on June 3 over undisclosed misconduct. The dismissal came shortly after Mia filed for divorce, citing adultery. Court filings also reveal requests to sell the couple's home amid mounting financial pressures and outstanding debts.
The controversy follows several difficult months for Hagin, including his March arrest on animal cruelty charges and reports linking him to a high-profile controversy involving former congressional candidate and pastor Jackson Lahmeyer.
Craig Hagin has not publicly responded to Mia's latest allegations. Shortly after his dismissal from Rhema, he released a brief statement describing the situation as "a difficult season" and asked supporters to pray for his family as he seeks God's direction.
The public disagreement between Craig Hagin's parents and his estranged wife has added another painful chapter to a scandal that continues to send shockwaves through one of the most recognizable families in the Word of Faith movement.
