Christian country duo Band Reeves has announced the release of their highly anticipated debut album with Centricity Music, How To Forgive, arriving on August 21. Ahead of the full project, the brothers have released the album's title track, giving listeners an early glimpse into what they describe as their most personal and spiritually significant collection of songs yet.

Comprised of brothers Jeramy and Cody Reeves from Palestine, Texas, Band Reeves has built a growing following through authentic country storytelling rooted in faith and everyday life. Their debut label album explores themes of broken relationships, pride, redemption, restoration, and the life-changing power of forgiveness.

The inspiration behind the project comes from deeply personal experiences. Cody recalls a defining moment with his father after a heated argument, when instead of responding with anger, his father extended forgiveness before Cody even apologized. That experience became a vivid picture of God's grace and helped shape the heart of the album.

Jeramy also reflects on how pride affected important relationships throughout his life, saying he eventually learned that true strength is found in humility, meekness, and choosing forgiveness over bitterness. Those lessons echo throughout the album's songs, particularly the title track, which emphasizes the freedom that comes from releasing pain into God's hands.

In addition to the title song, How To Forgive features the current radio single "If I Didn't Have You," as well as tracks including "Devil Drive," "My Country," "Front Porch Church," "Hold On To Jesus," and "What Free Feels Like." The brothers blend heartfelt country melodies with Gospel-centered lyrics, creating songs that speak to both life's struggles and God's restoring grace.

The announcement follows a successful 28-city spring tour with Ben Fuller, where Band Reeves introduced their music to packed audiences across the country. They will continue performing throughout the summer at festivals and events ahead of the album's August release.

How To Forgive serves as a timely reminder that forgiveness is one of the clearest reflections of the Gospel. Just as Christ freely forgave us before we could earn it, Christians are called to extend that same grace to others. Band Reeves' new album points listeners toward the freedom, healing, and restoration that become possible when God's grace triumphs over pride and resentment.
