Garth Brooks announced his 2026 "Blame It All On My Roots" Arena Tour on Tuesday, confirming a full-scale return to arena touring for the first time since his 2018-2022 Stadium Tour. The first two shows will be held Aug. 21-22 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, with tickets going on sale July 17 at 10 a.m. ET through Ticketmaster. Every ticket will be priced at $154, including facility and service fees, with an eight-ticket limit per purchase.
"Going back into the arenas is about putting the stadium show in a box," Brooks said in a statement. "The excitement gets multiplied by the intimacy. Every seat is a great seat. This is personal."
The tour marks a deliberate callback to Brooks' 1996-1998 World Tour, which produced his blockbuster live album Double Live and featured his iconic Drum Pod - a plexiglass structure that enclosed his drummer during shows. In an Instagram teaser posted early Tuesday, Brooks approached the dust-covered pod and said, "How long has it been, old girl? Thirty years? ... Maybe it's time we put you back to work." The shows will also serve as the foundation for a new live recording project called Killer Live.
No additional tour stops have been announced yet, though Brooks' team says more dates are coming.
Faith has long threaded through Brooks' music - from his signature hit "Unanswered Prayers," built around the line "sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers," to his own words crediting a higher power for his career: "If I have any talent at all it's from God, and my mom." For fans, this tour promises the same blend of gratitude and showmanship that's defined his stage career for decades.
