Noah Kahan made Fenway Park history Tuesday night, becoming the first artist ever to play four consecutive nights at Boston's ballpark - and the first to sell out all four. Heavy rain fell as fans lined up for merchandise along Brookline Avenue, some waiting more than 30 minutes in the downpour before doors opened, but the weather did little to dampen the mood.
"Fenway Park, I'm coming home. Can't wait to spend 4 nights with you," Kahan wrote on social media ahead of the run, which continues July 8, 10, and 11. The Vermont-born singer-songwriter previously played two sold-out shows at Fenway in 2024, a run that produced his live album Live From Fenway Park.
Ahead of Tuesday's opener, Kahan reflected on what returning to the ballpark means to him. "Knowing that we're coming back and getting to do it again, I'm just feeling grateful and humbled by the size of it and the atmosphere of where we are," he said in a video posted to social media. "It's an honor. It's just a really lasting feeling of gratitude."
The shows are part of Kahan's Great Divide Tour, supporting his fourth studio album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 earlier this year. Special guests Gigi Perez and Annabelle Dinda are opening each night, and the Boston Fire Department confirmed fireworks are planned to close out each show, weather permitting.
The run comes just days after Kahan headlined the inaugural Rolling Stone Stateside Festival on July 4 weekend.
