In less than a year, husband-and-wife worship duo Remnant House has gone from emerging artists to one of Christian music's fastest-rising new acts. With millions of Spotify streams, more than 300,000 social media followers, and placements on major worship playlists, Kenzie and Jesse Frohling are quickly capturing the attention of worship leaders and listeners around the world.

Now, the South African-American duo is building on that momentum with their powerful new single, "Nothing Without Him," an energetic anthem inspired by John 15:5 that boldly proclaims humanity's complete dependence on Christ. In this exclusive interview, Remnant House shares the heart behind the song, how God has guided their remarkable rise, the influence of their unique backgrounds, and why they believe revival begins with a Church that remembers it can do nothing apart from Jesus.

Q: For readers who are discovering Remnant House for the first time, who are you, and what is the vision and heart behind your music and ministry?

Remnant House was started by Kenzie and Jesse Frohling, who felt a deep calling to stir up a revival of worship in Christ's Remnant. We are those called to stay faithful when the whole world rejects truth and Jesus' teachings. We aim to build up the church and proclaim the truth of Christi again and again through anthemic worship.

Q: Your new single, "Nothing Without Him," is rooted in John 15:5. Why was this Scripture placed at the center of the song, and what do you hope listeners take away from its message?

This verse says, "Apart from Me You Can Do Nothing", words spoken by Christ. It's a strong reminder that without Him we are nothing. He is our identity, He is our strength, He is our Salvation, and He is our EVERYTHING.

Q: The song combines high-energy worship with a powerful reminder that we can do nothing apart from Christ. How did you approach writing a song that is both an anthem of celebration and a declaration of complete dependence on Jesus?

A song that is a declaration always needs to start with a deep search through God's word for a universal truth for the church. When that truth is found, you shape a chorus around it that repeats that truth deep into one's soul. And then the verses tell the story that makes the anthem of that chorus hit even deeper. And in all of this, we have full dependence on the Holy Spirit to write through us and use us as instruments for Christ.

Q: In less than a year, you've amassed millions of Spotify streams and built a large following across social media. How has God been leading you through this rapid growth, and what has surprised you most about the journey so far?

All glory to God!!! We gave this ministry to Him from the start, and His favor brought the music to many souls. We realized that using tools like social media and advertising don't need to be an aversion; we should use them for the glory of God!

Q: As a South African-American husband-and-wife worship duo, how do your different backgrounds, experiences, and faith journeys shape the music you create together?

Oh, this is a fantastic question.... Jesse's South African upbringing has definitely brought a unique perspective to our ministry. A different understanding of what God is doing on the other side of the world, in a very different place. We combined our unique loves, passions, and upbringings to form what Remant House is today.

Q: Looking beyond "Nothing Without Him," what can fans and worship leaders look forward to next from Remnant House, and what are your hopes for the future of your ministry and upcoming music?

Soon after "Nothing Without Him" we have a song called "Even If", about how Even If life doesn't play out the way we expect, God is still good and He will never change! We hope to be touring a lot more in 2027 and meet more of our fans in person.
