The Emerging Sound has released a new single, "Something to Say," and it arrives with a clear message: quiet faith doesn't stay quiet for long.

The song, out now in partnership with People & Songs, follows the group's earlier release "Stand On Your Promise" and continues to build toward their upcoming collaborative album, set for a July 2026 release. Built around the line "I met the One who can save," the track moves from personal transformation to open declaration - a theme the group says reflects what happens naturally once faith takes root.

The Emerging Sound was founded by Jennie Lee Riddle, a Dove Award-winning and Gold-certified songwriter known for writing songs that congregations actually sing - not just stream. Every one of the collective's collaborative albums has debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes Christian chart, but the group has said its real measure of success is different: songs sung in churches and living rooms long after the release date passes.

"Something to Say" leans into that mission directly. Rather than staying in the realm of quiet reflection, the song pushes toward testimony - the idea that a life genuinely changed by faith eventually has something to say about it, whether in a worship service or a everyday conversation.

With the full collaborative album expected later this year, "Something to Say" offers an early look at where The Emerging Sound is headed: less about platform, the group says, and more about equipping the church with songs built to last.
