Marty Magehee, best known as a member of the multi-platinum Contemporary Christian group 4Him, is stepping further into his solo career with the release of his new single "Let It Go," out July 10.

The track marks the fourth single from Magehee's upcoming solo EP, continuing a milestone year for the veteran artist as he builds a musical identity beyond the group that first introduced him to Christian music audiences.

"This song stresses the freedom found in not holding grudges. Life's too short," Magehee said of the new release.

The message reflects a theme familiar across Christian music but delivered with the personal weight of Magehee's own journey - a reminder that releasing resentment isn't about excusing what happened, but about receiving the freedom God offers on the other side of forgiveness.

Fans of 4Him, whose harmony-driven hits shaped Contemporary Christian radio for years, will find a more intimate and personal sound in Magehee's solo output, one shaped by his individual walk of faith rather than group vocals and arrangements.

"Let It Go" is available now on all major streaming platforms, with more solo material expected from Magehee as his EP release continues to roll out through the rest of 2026.
