Emma Roberts is officially a married woman.
The "American Horror Story" star tied the knot with actor Cody John on Saturday, July 25, during an outdoor ceremony at a private estate in Sun Valley, Idaho. The couple exchanged vows in front of close family and friends, including Roberts' aunt, award-winning actress Julia Roberts, who attended alongside her husband, Danny Moder.
Roberts wore a flowing, vintage-inspired Monique Lhuillier gown with a removable shawl and a chapel-length veil for the ceremony, which lasted about 45 minutes in 95-degree heat. John wore a brown suit for the occasion. Photos from the day also showed Roberts' 5-year-old son, Rhodes, taking part in the celebration alongside his mother.
Roberts and John first sparked dating rumors in the summer of 2022 and kept much of their relationship private over the years that followed, making only occasional public appearances together. The couple got engaged in July 2024, with Roberts announcing the news on Instagram alongside a photo showing off her ring, joking in the caption that she was "putting this here" before her mom could share the news first.
Speaking to Vogue about her dress ahead of the big day, Roberts said she wanted the design to feel "very vintage-inspired," drawing on her love of antique books and old keepsakes rather than a traditional bridal look.
The wedding closes out a four-year relationship for the couple and marks a new chapter for Roberts, who has built a career spanning film and television since her breakout roles in the 2000s. Fans and fellow celebrities flooded social media with congratulations following the news, celebrating the intimate, family-filled celebration.
