Meghan Markle made a rare television guest appearance on the July 26 episode of MasterChef Australia - and her husband, Prince Harry, couldn't resist crashing the moment.

The Duchess of Sussex stepped in as a guest judge for the show's 18th season, evaluating a challenge that asked contestants to turn a pantry ingredient into a dish "fit for a duchess." Midway through the judging segment, a production assistant handed Meghan a phone with an unexpected caller on the line. "Have I interrupted something important?" Harry asked as she turned the screen to show him the studio.

"Hi, my love!" Meghan said, breaking into a smile before turning to the room. "My husband's here!" She introduced Harry to the judges, contestants, and crew before signing off with a laugh. "I love you, talk to you later," she said, later telling the crowd, "He's a charmer, isn't he?"

The episode was filmed during Meghan and Harry's four-day trip to Australia in April, which included charitable, business, and philanthropic engagements across Melbourne, Canberra, and Sydney. It marked the couple's first joint visit to the country since their 2018 royal tour as newlyweds, two years before they stepped back from royal duties.

MasterChef Australia has featured a rotating lineup of celebrity guest judges over its many seasons, and Meghan's appearance continues her recent step into lifestyle and entertainment projects. According to reporting from ITV News, she was not paid for the cameo.

Fans quickly took to social media to share the clip, with many calling the surprise video call one of the sweetest moments of the season so far.
