Christian pop artist Cade Thompson has released "Wait On The Lord," his fourth new single of 2026.
"4th drop this year!! 'Wait On The Lord' is available everywhere," Thompson wrote in a social media announcement. "Would mean the world if you gave it a listen."
The song continues a steady rollout of new music from the Red Street Records artist this year, following "That's What The Cross Is For," "One Day At A Time," and "Narrow," which released in June and reminded listeners that the road to faith, though narrow, leads to promises worth the sacrifice.
Thompson, who signed with Red Street Records - the independent Christian label founded by Rascal Flatts member Jay DeMarcus - broke out with his 2020 debut single "Provider" before earning a Top 20 Billboard charting single with "Every Step of the Way." His sophomore album, "Empty Room," has surpassed 25 million streams behind singles "Good God" and "Arms of Jesus."
Thompson has spent recent years touring alongside artists including Chris Tomlin, TobyMac, Newsboys, and Michael W. Smith, while also leading weekly worship for young adults at his local church.
"Wait On The Lord" is available to stream now on all platforms.
