Benson Boone's "Wanted Man Tour" stop at Sacramento's Golden 1 Center was postponed just hours before the show was set to begin, with organizers citing health reasons.
The venue confirmed the postponement Saturday, though no further details have been released about the nature of the issue or a new date for the rescheduled show. Fans holding tickets are being told to hold onto them, as they're expected to be honored once a new date is announced.
This isn't the first time health issues have forced Boone off the stage. In November 2025, the 23-year-old singer canceled a sold-out show in Birmingham, England, less than an hour before showtime after losing his voice, writing on Instagram that he'd "tried everything" to recover but couldn't give fans the performance they deserved. He's also dealt with tour disruptions from outside forces, postponing a Spokane show earlier this year because of nearby wildfires.
The Sacramento postponement comes amid a breakout year for Boone, who wrapped his sold-out "American Heart" world tour before launching "Wanted Man" behind his Grammy-nominated sophomore album.
Off the road, Boone has also been part of a different kind of public conversation lately - his upbringing in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Raised in a devout LDS family in Monroe, Washington, Boone has said in past interviews that he's since stepped back from organized religion, telling Rolling Stone he doesn't "want to be a part of one religion" and instead draws from several.
His parents remain active in the LDS Church, and Boone has said they've supported him figuring out his own beliefs.
