Bunnie Xo may be divorced from Jelly Roll and suddenly the owner of a new Los Angeles home and an ultra-luxury Rolls-Royce-but she wants fans to stop connecting dots that she says simply aren't connected.
After revealing that she purchased a home in California, Bunnie says some fans apparently assumed she was packing up her life in Nashville and heading West following her divorce from Jelly Roll.
Not happening.
"The Cali home is a vacation home," Bunnie explained during an Ask, Tell, Confess segment of her Dumb Blonde podcast.
"Nashville will always be home," she continued. "This is my peace. This is where I come to zen out and heal."
That Nashville connection is particularly significant following her split from Jelly Roll. According to Bunnie, the Nashville property became fully hers as part of their divorce proceedings, and she has been customizing the home specifically for herself. The work is so extensive that she says parts of the property are still essentially a construction zone.
There's another major reason she isn't abandoning Tennessee: her animals.
Bunnie's Nashville estate is home to mini-cows, donkeys and other animals, and she says she has no intention of permanently leaving them behind.
So why drop money on a second home in Los Angeles?
Bunnie says owning a West Coast property has been a longtime dream, and the house gives her a place to stay when she travels to L.A. for work, including recording episodes of Dumb Blonde. It also provides an escape from Nashville's winter weather.
"When it snows out here I like a break from the snow," she explained, adding that she sometimes wants to find some sunshine during the darker winter months.
But the house wasn't Bunnie's only eye-catching purchase.
She also recently revealed that she bought herself a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, the ultra-luxury SUV that can retail for around $500,000. Hers features red seats and a sparkling headliner designed to resemble a starry night sky.
Naturally, the timing got people talking.
The extravagant purchase came only weeks after Bunnie and Jelly Roll finalized their divorce, making it easy for fans to interpret the new wheels as the ultimate post-breakup present.
Bunnie says that's not what happened.
According to her, the Rolls-Royce had been "in the works for a year" and was intended as a gift to herself after going through IVF treatments.
"And it just so happens that it landed at this time in my life," she explained, insisting the purchase "has nothing to do with anything having to do with that part of my life."
Bunnie and Jelly Roll called it quits in May 2026 after nearly a decade of marriage, closing the chapter on a relationship that had become one of country music's most recognizable love stories.
Now Bunnie is entering a very different chapter-with a Nashville home of her own, a California getaway and a Rolls-Royce in the driveway.
But despite appearances, she insists fans shouldn't read the L.A. property as evidence that she's running away from Nashville-or the flashy new car as a divorce celebration.
Nashville, she says, is still home.
Los Angeles is simply where she plans to escape when she needs a little California sunshine.
