Miranda Lambert Brings Her ‘Country Disco’ Era to Billy Bob’s Texas for ‘Crisco’ Release Show

Miranda Lambert is ready to put some disco sparkle on the honky-tonk!

The country superstar will celebrate the release of her highly anticipated new album, Crisco, with a special one-night-only album release show at the legendary Billy Bob's Texas in Fort Worth on Tuesday, October 6.

Crisco arrives October 2 via MCA, meaning fans will have only a few days to learn the new songs before Lambert brings them to one of Texas' most famous dance floors.

Tickets for the special show go on sale Friday, August 14, at 10 a.m. CT via Lambert's official website.

And Billy Bob's isn't simply another tour stop. For Lambert, the venue perfectly captures the unusual musical world she has created for Crisco-an album that explores the surprisingly natural relationship between old-school country dance halls and the glittering energy of disco.

"When I was in the studio recording Crisco, I kept picturing the rhinestone saddle at Billy Bob's," Lambert shares. "It's the perfect visual for a country disco album: honky tonk with some extra rhinestones and shine."

"I've played some of my all-time favorite shows at Billy Bob's," she adds, "and it felt like the best place to bring everyone together to have fun and live out the feeling of this album."

The announcement follows the release of Lambert's latest song, "Sunset Marquis," a dreamy, California-inspired track offering another glimpse into the eclectic sound of the forthcoming record.

The album will also feature previously released songs "Till The Going's Gone," the title track "Crisco" and Lambert's GRAMMY-nominated collaboration with Chris Stapleton, "A Song To Sing."

That Stapleton duet has already become a major moment for Lambert, delivering the biggest streaming debut of her career.

Crisco contains 12 tracks in total, with titles including "Snakeskin Boots," "Cowgirl Curtsy," "Cuttin' Onions," "Whiskey Business" and "Right Where We Left It." Lambert also tackles Jim Croce's beloved "I'll Have To Say I Love You In A Song."

The new project follows Lambert's 2024 GRAMMY-nominated album Postcards from Texas, which extended her remarkable run to 10 consecutive Top 10 albums on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart.

With three GRAMMY Awards, 14 CMA Awards and more ACM Awards than any artist in the organization's history, Lambert certainly doesn't need to prove her country credentials.

But with Crisco, she appears ready to trade a little dust from the dance hall for some disco-ball glitter-and there may be no more appropriate place to launch that era than Billy Bob's Texas.
