Dimoldenberg is developing a romantic comedy with Amazon MGM Studios' Orion Pictures in which she is expected to play a journalist whose celebrity interview unexpectedly turns romantic-a storyline that sounds suspiciously like Chicken Shop Date with a bigger budget. She is also reportedly developing a young-adult drama for the BBC and has already expanded her profile through high-profile red-carpet work, including three consecutive years covering the Academy Awards.

There may also be a more complicated reason behind her decision. Dimoldenberg recently admitted that becoming a public figure could feel "a bit disorienting," particularly after years of working relentlessly to establish herself and then realizing that she had effectively become a commercial product.

For now, however, she is preparing to give the show the send-off it deserves. The identities of her final guests remain secret, leaving fans to speculate about whether Garfield could return for one last serving-or whether Dimoldenberg might finally find the love story she originally went looking for at 17.
