The 2026 GMA Dove Awards are already shaping up to be one of Christian music's biggest nights-and the first wave of performers and presenters includes several famous faces fans may not have expected.
TobyMac, Anne Wilson, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Tauren Wells and bluegrass favorites Chosen Road have been confirmed as the first performers for the 57th Annual GMA Dove Awards. The ceremony will take place Tuesday, October 6, at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.
The presenter list is just as impressive. Gospel legend CeCe Winans will take the stage alongside Anthony Brown, for KING + COUNTRY, Karen Peck, Lisa Knowles Smith and Sarai Rivera. However, one of the evening's most intriguing additions is longtime Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves.
Chen Moonves will present a brand-new Community Impact Award for Peace & Purpose, sponsored by Jesus Calling. Inspired by the legacy of late author Sarah Young, the award will recognize an organization creating a meaningful, faith-driven impact beyond the Christian music industry.
The first recipient will be God Behind Bars, a nonprofit ministry that brings worship, Christian community and discipleship to incarcerated men and women and their families. The organization has helped thousands of prisoners encounter the gospel and pursue spiritual transformation.
While Chen Moonves may initially appear to be a surprising choice for Christian music's biggest awards show, she has become increasingly vocal about her faith in recent years. The television personality has spoken publicly about turning to God during one of the darkest periods of her career and credited Christianity with changing her life, marriage and outlook.
Additional performers and presenters will be announced in the weeks leading up to the ceremony, meaning the GMA is still keeping some of its biggest surprises under wraps.
Tickets for the October 6 ceremony are currently on sale, although the special Music City Fan Experiences have already sold out. Fans hoping to participate in those packages next year can join the waiting list for the 2027 event.
Those unable to attend in person will not have to miss the celebration. The 57th Annual GMA Dove Awards will air exclusively on TBN and the TBN+ app on Friday, October 9, at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET. The ceremony will also be simulcast on SiriusXM's The Message.
An encore presentation is scheduled to air on TBN and TBN+ on Friday, October 16, at the same times.
The GMA Dove Awards remain one of the most prestigious celebrations of Christian and Gospel music, honoring artists whose songs have carried messages of faith, hope and redemption.
