Lauren Daigle Turns 35—But Her Birthday Wish Has Nothing To Do With Herself

Lauren Daigle is celebrating her 35th birthday, but instead of asking fans to shower her with gifts, the Christian music superstar is turning the spotlight toward people desperately in need of help.

Daigle's team marked her September 9 birthday with a glowing tribute on Instagram, praising the "You Say" singer for the unmistakable joy and compassion she brings to those around her.

"Happy birthday to our girl LD," Team LD wrote. "Your joy, heart, and light make every day a little brighter."

However, the birthday message quickly became something much bigger than a celebrity celebration. Fans were encouraged to honor Daigle by donating to The Price Fund, her charitable organization supporting children, older adults and vulnerable people around the world.

"Celebrate Lauren today by showing her some love and making a donation to The Price Fund," her team urged.

The invitation is entirely in character for Daigle. Even as her career has exploded with Grammy Awards, record-breaking songs and sold-out international tours, the Louisiana native has continued to invest a significant portion of her success into helping others.

Daigle founded The Price Fund in memory of her grandfather, who taught her to "love the world one relationship at a time." Her childhood home near New Orleans reportedly maintained an open-door spirit, welcoming neighbors and people experiencing difficult circumstances. Those early lessons eventually became the foundation of her philanthropic work.
