Rising Christian artist Josh Grove has released his new single, "I'm Done Running," inviting listeners to slow down, surrender their fears and rediscover the peace found in God's presence.
Available September 18 through NRT Music, the contemporary Christian pop song speaks to the pressure of constantly trying to manage life's challenges alone. Drawing inspiration from Psalm 46:10 and Matthew 11:28-30, Grove encourages listeners to become still before God and trust Him with the things they cannot control.
"I'm Done Running" combines youthful pop production with a message centered on surrender. The song reflects the moment when striving gives way to trusting God, reminding listeners that moving forward can sometimes begin with simply stopping and listening for His direction.
Written by Grove and produced by Eric Haley, the single also addresses fear and the distractions of a fast-paced life. Its message encourages listeners to recognize the ways God is already present and working around them.
The release continues a busy year for the Michigan-based singer, songwriter and worship leader. Grove first gained attention with "Holy Flame," which became a finalist in the Unsigned Only Music Awards. His follow-up song, "A Mighty Thanks," received national exposure through the Weekend Top 20 Countdown, which is syndicated across more than 300 radio stations.
In February, Grove released "Rain or Shine," featuring Christian hip-hop artist KJ-52. The song reached No. 1 on the Christian Music Weekly CHH/Rhythmic Chart. He subsequently released the rock-influenced singles "New Life" and "Hope," followed by the worship song "Trust (Psalm 13)" in August.
Grove has also earned recognition through songwriting competitions. "A Mighty Thanks" was a semifinalist in the 2025 American Songwriter Song Contest, while "Holy Flame" and "A Mighty Thanks" were finalists in the Christian and Teen categories of the 2025 International Songwriting Competition. In 2026, he signed a publishing administration agreement with Kingdom Impact Group.
At 16, Grove continues to build a diverse catalog that moves across worship, contemporary pop, rock and rhythmic music. Alongside his music, he serves in children's ministry and leads worship at his home church, using his songs to point listeners toward Jesus.
